We hope you will join us for our upcoming Jewish Communities Day at the State: Legislative Mission to Austin on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
In collaboration with all Jewish Federations in Texas, Jewish Dallas organizes an advocacy day at the Texas Capitol for Jewish communities throughout Texas. This biennial event is important because it educates our legislators about the policy priorities that are important to the Texas Jewish community. A strong attendance lets our state leaders know that the Jewish community is attentive to the decisions they make and that we care about issues that impact our Jewish and greater communities.
Together, we will learn about important issues facing our community, hear from Texas leadership, and meet with legislators to raise awareness of antisemitism, advocate for increased security funding to help protect nonprofit institutions, and help support our social services agency partners.
Group transportation will be provided leaving from the Jewish Federation at 6:00 am and scheduled to be back in Dallas by 7:00 pm on the day of. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. A pre-event webinar will be held to help prepare for the advocacy day. Register now to join us!
